  • We are hiring immediately for a full time PANTRY COORDINATOR position.
  • Location: NBC - 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New Hyde Park, NY 10112. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Further details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous 2 years of food service and hospitality experience required.
  • Pay Range:  $22.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour.
  • Additional Job Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Maintain designated office pantry locations at appropriate inventory levels, ensuring beverages, snacks, coffee products, condiments, and supplies are consistently stocked and organized.
    • Receive incoming products, verify orders for accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and inspect items for quality and expiration dates.
    • Properly handle perishable products, maintain required refrigeration, and rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to preserve freshness and minimize waste.
    • Establish and maintain appropriate par levels, track product usage, and order replacement inventory to ensure adequate supplies while maximizing product rotation.
    • Keep pantry and storage areas clean and organized while performing routine cleaning, sanitation, and minor maintenance on coffee and water equipment and reporting equipment requiring additional repair.

Job Summary

Summary:  Responsible for food/beverage distribution from the pantry, pantry product inventory and offerings, and other related duties.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all food or beverage is distributed from pantry in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains and performs product inventory.
  • Understands menu offerings.
  • Creates, modifies, or closes individual sale checks via electronic tablet.
  • Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
