Company Description
Total Package Delivery (the "Company") delivers packages to customers every day. We're looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team full-time or part-time, delivering packages for a national technology company! As a delivery associate, you will deliver packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery locations. In this position, you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed customer expectations and make sure customer orders, large or small, are delivered on time and at the right place.
We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery drivers enjoy being out on the road driving, putting safety first and caring deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.
We are looking for team players who desire to grow with the Company.

โ€ข Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Job Description
Benefits & Scheduling:
โ€ข Up to $21.50 per hour (paid biweekly)
โ€ข 10-hour shifts are typical
โ€ข 4 or 5-day work week (40-50 hours) is typical
โ€ข A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30 minute meal break
โ€ข Opportunity for performance incentives and bonuses
โ€ข Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (Note: Employees who work on average less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance)
โ€ข Paid time off begins accruing immediately at start of employment
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
โ€ข Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
โ€ข Safely drive and perform safety inspections on the Company vehicle
โ€ข Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
โ€ข Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions
โ€ข Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
โ€ข Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
โ€ข Use a smartphone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
โ€ข Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
โ€ข Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
Qualifications
Requirements:
โ€ข Must be at least 21 years old
โ€ข Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license
โ€ข Must be authorized to work in the United States
โ€ข Must successfully pass a background check
โ€ข Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
โ€ข Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
โ€ข Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
