Job Title: Packaging Associate
Location: Moorhead, MN
Pay Rate: $21.59/hour
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7 AM to 7 PM), rotating schedule including weekends
Type: Temp to hire

Job Summary
The Packaging Associate is responsible for managing material flow from the Hot Press machine to the Printer machine. The position supports daily production goals by safely operating machinery, feeding materials, removing defective products, and ensuring finished goods meet quality standards in a fast-paced, high-temperature manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas at all times.
  • Stack products on pallets and prepare them for the next stage of production or shipment.
  • Promptly report health, safety, hygiene, quality, or productivity issues to the supervisor.
  • Accurately complete housekeeping paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and display flexibility with job tasks.

Requirements
  • Safety shoes are required.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and in extreme heat.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks.
  • Previous fast-paced manufacturing experience highly preferred.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English; must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Strong hand/eye coordination; able to manipulate materials and perform tasks quickly and skillfully.
  • Experience with industrial environments: working around moving equipment, conveyor systems, and machine noise.
  • Basic computer skills and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
  • Positive, professional attitude, and strong work ethic.
