Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst with solid knowledge and expertise in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of P&C insurance principles, processes, and systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to P&C insurance operations.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of P&C insurance products, markets, and competitors to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Utilize your solid understanding of P&C insurance to support the design and development of innovative solutions that address business needs.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and testers, to ensure successful implementation of business solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance during the development and enhancement of P&C insurance systems and applications.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy within P&C insurance systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, business process flows, and user manuals.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance principles, products, and processes.
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and the ability to write complex queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
- Familiarity with dimensional data marts and their role in data warehousing.
- Proficiency in using business intelligence tools to create reports and dashboards for P&C insurance analytics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to data integrity.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in the P&C insurance industry is highly desirable
