In an orthopedic device sales role, your job is to act as an industry representative for a manufacturer and help sell orthopedic products that a physician can offer to a patient. Orthopedics are a type of medical instrument that focus on muscular and skeletal problems. They may have different names depending on the part of the body that they address. Common devices include plates, nails, and braces. Most orthopedic devices are not available for purchase by the users. Instead, you consult with a physician on the best choice for a patient's healthcare needs and provide guidance for installing and configuring the device.
