Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, organizational development and/or effectiveness, industrial psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in organizational development, effectiveness, or design, providing consultation to leaders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Experience partnering with supply chain, distribution, logistics, or operations leaders

Job Summary
Leads strategic organizational development consultation and executive advisement to support long-term business objectives through the design, implementation, and evaluation of solutions spanning organizational design, change management, leadership development, team effectiveness, and broader talent initiatives.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
  • Designs and delivers organizational development interventions to enable strategic and transformational change across multiple or highly complex segments of the business.
  • Conducts and synthesizes data-driven analysis to anticipate and communicate current and emerging organizational needs, staying abreast of leadership and organizational development trends and proactively recommending enhancements.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of organizational development interventions to ensure intended outcomes are achieved, lessons learned are captured, and adjustments are informed by feedback and results.
  • Partners with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, and Talent Management teams to drive organizational design, redesign, and restructuring efforts, directly supporting large-scale transformations and guiding others through small to moderate restructuring initiatives.
  • Performs comprehensive organizational assessments and diagnostics to identify root causes of organizational effectiveness and performance challenges, translating insights into actionable recommendations that improve business outcomes.
  • Provides executive-level coaching, facilitation, team development, whole-system analysis, process reengineering, and organizational development consulting aligned with enterprise strategy and core values.
  • Directs Senior Specialist(s) in the design and execution of Pulse Check Surveys, including question development, administration, and interpretation of results.
  • Supports additional projects and initiatives as assigned in alignment with organizational effectiveness and business priorities.

Nature and Scope
  • Solutions require analysis and investigation.
  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
  • Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.

Work Environment
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking and/or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
