Position Summary: The E-Business Suite Developer is a senior technical role responsible for the architecture, design, development, enhancement, and ongoing support of complex Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions.

This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle EBS technical development, including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, OA Framework, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and integrations. The position plays a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions and supporting critical business operations across multiple functional areas.

Position Location: Novi, MI; McAllen, TX; Plano, TX; or Torrance, CA

This position requires at least three days of onsite work each week.

KEY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design, development, and support of complex Oracle EBS RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows)
  • Provide advanced technical support in a production environment, including root cause analysis and resolution of complex system and data issues
  • Design and implement integrations, EDI solutions, and interfaces using Oracle APIs, open interfaces, and web services
  • Develop and support reports, data conversions, and batch processes aligned with business requirements
  • Optimize system performance through SQL/PLSQL tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, DBAs, and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Serve as a senior technical contributor, guiding design standards, code quality, and deployment practices
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Oracle EBS modules such as Order Management, Inventory, AR/AP, General Ledger, HRMS, and Service/Depot Repair
  • Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal control standards, including JSOX requirements
  • Document solutions, support testing, and ensure production readiness and stability

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite technical development experience

Required Technical Skills:

  • Advanced experience with:
    • SQL & PL/SQL
    • Oracle Forms & Reports
    • OA Framework (OAF)
    • Oracle Workflow
    • BI Publisher
    • SQL Loader
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 architecture
    • Standard APIs and open interfaces
    • Data conversions and system integrations
  • Experience supporting Oracle EBS in a live production environment

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Oracle e-Commerce Gateway
  • Experience with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT)
