Job description

Position: SAP Ariba Consultant

location: Anywhere in USA

Duration: 12 months

Rate: Market

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement SAP Ariba Upstream modules including:

o             Sourcing

o             Supplier Lifecycle and Performance

o             Contract Management

  • Provide functional expertise on SAP Ariba Downstream (Procure-to-Pay, Guided Buying, and Invoicing).
  • Configure and support Sourcing events, RFX, auctions, and contract negotiations using Ariba.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Integrate Ariba modules with SAP ERP or other systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Leverage the Ziphq procurement tool for enhanced source-to-pay automation and visibility.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and support users.
  • Provide training and documentation for key users and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Upstream (Sourcing, Contracts, SL&P).
  • Working knowledge of SAP Ariba Downstream (P2P, invoicing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Ziphq or other procurement automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end source-to-pay (S2P) processes.
  • Experience in SAP Ariba configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team across global time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Ariba certification(s) in Sourcing or Procurement.
  • Experience integrating Ariba with SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
  • Exposure to agile project methodologies.
