Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Reporting: Senior Director of Information Technology
Summary and Scope of Position:
The Oracle Fusion System Analyst serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, providing support to college functional areas. This role focuses on process improvement, system optimization, and collaboration with stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
  • Advising functional offices on best practices for process improvement and implementation strategies.
  • Designing, documenting, and maintaining Oracle Fusion Cloud system processes.
  • Identifying opportunities for enhanced monitoring, issue resolution, and added value across administrative offices.
  • Leveraging technology, industry standards, and business function expertise to resolve complex business challenges.
  • Collaborating with internal and external integration partners to address and resolve system integration issues.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and recommending solutions in partnership with functional teams and subject matter experts.
  • Managing and logging Service Requests (SRs) and coordinating with contracted support as needed.
  • Conducting system testing with end users and functional teams to ensure accurate performance during normal operations and after upgrades.
  • Reviewing Oracle release documentation to assess potential impacts on integrations and system operations.
  • Managing and deploying integration changes while coordinating testing with partners.
  • Assessing business requirements with functional leads to evaluate the impact of new or modified modules.
  • Developing detailed plans for upgrades and implementations in collaboration with team members and contracted support.
  • Tracking, logging, and resolving issues using tools like JIRA and Team Dynamix to ensure prompt resolutions.
  • Continuously engaging in self-directed learning to analyze problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Higher Education, business, or government, with knowledge of current Finance or Human Resources issues in higher education
  • Must be able to work in both an independent and team environment.
  • Must have effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with business analysis and/or project management with major enterprise systems (e.g., Financials, HR, Enrollment, Student Information Systems) within higher education.
  • Oracle Fusion Application Experience.

Work Environment:
  • Remote eligible.
  • Must be able to visit campus for employee orientation and periodically if required.
