Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Business Systems Analyst to join the project team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Financials, particularly Oracle Fusion Cloud General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH). You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing Oracle-based solutions, and ensuring successful implementation and adoption of Oracle financial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document detailed business requirements through interviews, workshops, and system analysis.
  • Design, configure, and propose Oracle system solutions that align with business objectives and financial reporting needs.
  • Lead the redesign of the Chart of Accounts (COA) to optimize financial processes and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Oracle Fusion Cloud GL & FAH with existing business processes.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Provide end-user training, support, and documentation on Oracle financial systems.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and effective project delivery.
  • Facilitate design sessions and drive solution discussions independently.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience with Oracle Applications in Finance, with deep expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
  • 6โ€“9 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Proven track record of implementing and leading Oracle Fusion Cloud GL & FAH projects.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and system integration.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead workshops, design sessions, and client discussions independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large consulting environments.
  • Oracle Cloud Certification in Financials or related modules.
  • Prior experience with COA redesign and large-scale financial transformation initiatives.
