Job description


The Lead Technical Analyst role is responsible for leading the support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications necessary for the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of data for internal department planning and activities. The incumbent will lead the partnership with technical teams to ensure software systems are running efficiently with minimal downtime. The incumbent will be responsible for managing configuration, set up, and updates to the applications, validating that their team has entered data into established tables, fields, and system databases with the highest level of accuracy. The incumbent is an expert in developing custom queries and building reports utilizing query and flexible reporting tools to facilitate business management decisions. The role will provide strategic advice to management concerning changes in applications development, maintenance and system standards to optimize performance and mitigate potential risk with the ability to analyze various metrics to monitor performance and provide insights to management. The incumbent will lead and mentor the team responsible for training users on the applications and setting up user access. They will supervise the collaboration between cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to provide sufficient support for the enterprise-wide applications.
Responsibilities
WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:
  • Lead the support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications by providing guidance on developing and identifying design considerations and business impacts needed for configuration

  • Drive quality of data for internal department planning and activities

  • Lead configuration, setup, and updating of applications, and provide guidance as needed

  • Manage data loading process into established tables, fields, and system databases

  • Review and approve governance standards and processes for data input, structures, and storage mechanisms

  • Lead the team in building reports and provide strategic insights and recommendations related to business management and staff decisions

  • Lead and mentor the team responsible for training users on the applications and setting up user access

  • Provide strategic recommendations for changes in applications development, maintenance, and system standards

  • Establish and share Enterprise-wide Applications perspective when collaborating with cross-functional technical teams within the organization, to ensure the integration and interoperability of enterprise-wide systems

  • Lead and liaise with client stakeholders and external vendors to ensure support for enterprise-wide applications
    This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise-wide software support with in-depth knowledge of software development methodologies

  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise-wide Oracle applications and software platforms

  • Experience managing software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide systems

  • Expertise in configuring and setting up various Oracle enterprise-wide applications

  • Experience applying security designs and principles to technology-based business solutions

  • Experience leading teams and overseeing database management and maintenance

  • Ability to develop and review complex custom queries using query and reporting tools

  • Extensive knowledge of data management best practices and quality control processes

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. In lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of experience in enterprise-wide software support
  • Must be (18) eighteen years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without now or in the future requiring sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading or supporting multiple Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementations across diverse transportation networks, including domestic, international, parcel, LTL, truckload, and intermodal operations.

  • Advanced knowledge of transportation management best practices, freight optimization strategies, carrier management processes, and supply chain execution within complex distribution environments.

  • Experience designing and supporting integrations between OTM and enterprise applications such as ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), EDI platforms, carrier networks, and cloud integration solutions including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

  • Demonstrated expertise translating complex transportation requirements into OTM configurations and automated workflows, including functional design, configuration, documentation, testing, implementation, and production deployment of transportation solutions.
  • Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and/or Oracle
