Position: Oracle Procurement Functional Consultant

Location: Remote / Occasional Travel to Client Location

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Procurement Functional Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, integration, testing, and ongoing enhancement of Oracle Procurement solutions within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to translate procurement business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment for Oracle Procurement Cloud.
  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion Procurement modules, including:
    • Oracle Purchasing
    • Oracle Self-Service Procurement
    • Oracle Sourcing
    • Oracle Supplier Qualification Management
    • Oracle Supplier Portal
    • Oracle Procurement Contracts
  • Analyze existing procurement processes and recommend improvements aligned with Oracle Cloud best practices.
  • Configure procurement business processes including requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, sourcing, supplier management, receiving, and procurement contracts.
  • Design and configure approval workflows using Oracle BPM/Approval Management.
  • Configure procurement-related setups such as procurement business units, requisitioning business units, procurement agents, document styles, purchasing options, approval rules, and supplier configurations.
  • Work with business users to define functional requirements, prepare solution design documents, and develop functional specifications.
  • Support integrations between Oracle Procurement and other Oracle Fusion modules, including Financials, Inventory, Order Management, Projects, and Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP web services, and FBDI.
  • Develop and execute functional test scenarios, including unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
  • Support data migration activities involving suppliers, supplier sites, items, purchasing documents, and other procurement-related master/transaction data.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide functional solutions.
  • Prepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration documents, test scripts, and user training materials.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for procurement business users and stakeholders.
  • Provide post-production support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong experience in Oracle Procurement.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Procurement Contracts.
  • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
  • Experience with procurement approvals, requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, invoices, suppliers, sourcing events, and contracts.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Procurement configuration and setups.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials and Supply Chain modules and cross-module business processes.
  • Experience working with Oracle Cloud implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional design, testing, issue resolution, and production support.
  • Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) from a functional perspective.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement master data and transactional data.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Procurement Cloud certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP implementation methodologies.
  • Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Procurement in addition to Oracle Fusion Cloud is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Inventory, Cost Management, Order Management, Projects, and Accounts Payable is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Redwood user experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in large enterprise/global implementations is highly desirable.
