Job description

The Functional Lead, Oracle HCM-ERP Integration will bring subject matter expertise to the HCM team to integrate our existing Human Capital Management (HCM) system with Oracle ERP. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle HCM and ERP modules, strong leadership, program management skills, and a proven track record of successful system integrations. This role is critical to ensuring seamless business processes, data integrity, and optimal performance across our enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end integration of the current HCM system with Oracle ERP, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Engage in proactive and transparent communication with all project team members, key stakeholders and leadership to keep them informed and address their concerns throughout the integration process.
  • Take ownership of change management initiatives, guiding the organization through system transitions, addressing resistance, and ensuring stakeholder buy-in for new processes and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, IT, and external consultants to gather requirements, define integration strategies, and establish project timelines.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on Oracle HCM and its interoperability with Oracle ERP, providing guidance on best practices, process optimization, and data migration.
  • Design, document, and oversee the execution of integration processes, addressing data mapping, transformation, and validation needs.
  • Identify and mitigate integration risks, troubleshooting issues as they arise and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle HCM and ERP product enhancements, leveraging new features to improve integration outcomes.
  • Develop and execute project plans with the team in a timely manner to deliver HCM requirements according to the larger project timeline.
  • Report project status, milestones, and metrics to stakeholders and leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM and Oracle ERP systems, including at least 2 full-cycle integration projects.
  • In-depth understanding of HCM and ERP business processes and data structures.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with integration tools, middleware, and data migration techniques relevant to Oracle platforms.
