POSITION PURPOSE

Supervise Housekeeping team members and inspect rooms identified as clean by Housekeeping team to ensure proper cleanliness / readiness. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Supervise the performance of Housekeeping team members and take appropriate action to correct deficient conditions, behavior, and work practices. Complete room audits to ensure teammates are appropriately reporting clean and vacant rooms. Produce schedules for employees in accordance with staffing guides/productivity requirements. Review and adjust staffing to ensure optimum staffing levels. Communicate throughout the day with Front Office and other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory controls and submit monthly Purchase Order replacement of guest and cleaning supplies. Manage administrative functions in accordance with established standards.

OTHER:

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.  

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Lodge. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required

Requirements

EDUCATION

High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum three years management experience with at least two years in housekeeping management at progressively higher levels of responsibility.
