Job Description
Local Wisdom is expanding its in-house staffing services and looking for an Interactive Developer who can solve problems, create efficiencies, and thrive in a diverse culture. You'll report directly to the Operations Manager and use your coding skills to enhance user experience and promote global brands.
Your team supports a global pharmaceutical company in an in-house services capacity. They work with clients to produce mobile apps, live and animated videos, websites and other graphic design or digital creative products. The group is spread over three locations: Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ, and Horsham, PA. You will be sitting at Titusville but may travel in between campuses occasionally.
On a day-today basis, you will work closely with our production team to help establish scope and goals, then actively develop, update and deploy interactive HTML applications for mobile devices.
Overall, we're looking at you to:
  • Actively listen, ask good questions, solve problems and code great solutions
  • Get things done efficiently and with better results without compromising quality
  • Learn new skills, apply and then share results with others
  • Help cultivate a positive, collaborative and honest culture

Qualifications
  • You have a decent background and experience with digital solutions and services. That goes without saying, but we thought we should mention it anyway.
  • Typically, you should have a Bachelor's degree. We also acknowledge skills that are self-taught and have been successfully applied, relevant certifications and other training you have taken.
  • Most people will have about 3 years of experience in fast-paced agency environments before they are proficient to be successful in this role, but try to surprise us.
  • You know your way around Adobe CS so you can hang with designers and architects alike.
  • You've done a great job developing your coding chops in fun stuff like HTML5, CSS3, Jquery, native Javascript, JSON files, R script, Veeva CLM and SVN. You've also kept your skills honed by seeking to learn new things that stretch you even more.
  • Though you can hunker down with the best of them to get your job done, you love being an active part of collaborative team efforts.
  • If you could also show us how you've triumphed making positive changes in process, workflows or applied technology, we might just salivate.

Additional Information
This is a junior to mid-level, full time position located in Titusville, NJ. We are not considering relocation or remote candidates. We offer a competitive salary with benefits, training and perks. We're also an equal opportunity employer. Please submit your resume, portfolio/code samples and salary requirements for consideration.
