Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will oversee all accounting functions and financial activities while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of company financial records. This individual will play a critical role in financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and operational decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to provide financial guidance that supports company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial partners
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to company leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and financial performance
  • Oversee financial record retention and reporting requirements
  • Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
