Job description

Lead Residential HVAC Installer

$36-$45 per Hour | Full-Time

If you're an experienced residential HVAC installer who values quality workmanship over rushing through jobs, we'd like to talk.

Position Responsibilities

As a Lead Residential HVAC Installer, you will:

  • Install residential heating and cooling systems for replacement and retrofit projects
  • Install furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, air handlers, and ductless mini-split systems
  • Modify or fabricate duct systems as needed
  • Install refrigeration lines, gas piping, venting, and low-voltage controls
  • Start up and test newly installed equipment to verify proper operation
  • Diagnose and resolve installation issues on-site
  • Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Complete all work in compliance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

  • At least 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Strong experience with retrofit and replacement installations
  • The ability to work independently while maintaining quality and efficiency
  • Experience installing:
    • Furnaces
    • Air conditioners
    • Heat pumps
    • Air handlers
    • Ductwork systems
    • Refrigeration piping
    • Gas piping
  • Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems and low-voltage controls
  • Experience performing system startups and operational testing
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
