Administrative Support Team Lead (Plano, Texas)

At McCarthy & Holthus, LLP, and our affiliate companies, is looking for an Administrative Team Lead in our Plano, Texas office.

Position Summary: The Administrative Support Team Lead is responsible for overseeing day-to-day in-office operations and leading a small administrative support team. This role ensures the administrative function runs efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with organizational priorities. The Team Lead serves as both a people manager and a hands-on contributor, providing guidance, oversight, and support to the administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to a team of 2–5 administrative staff
  • Ensure smooth daily office operations, including front office coverage and administrative workflows
  • Assign, prioritize, and monitor administrative tasks to ensure timely and high-quality execution
  • Serve as a point of escalation for administrative issues and inquiries
  • Partner with leadership and internal teams to support business and operational needs
  • Maintain and improve administrative processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Support onboarding, training, and performance feedback for administrative team members
  • Ensure consistency in service delivery and professionalism across all administrative functions
  • Assist with scheduling, document management, meeting coordination, and other administrative duties as needed
  • May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
  • May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience leading or coordinating an administrative or support team

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in mortgage default or equivalent

Work Schedule:

This is a 100% office position requiring your physical presence Monday through Friday, with business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Salary Range:

The salary for this position typically ranges from $25-$28/hr, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate's specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.
