Role Overview
The Global Implementation Team Lead is responsible for guiding and coordinating the execution of implementation activities, ensuring work is completed efficiently, aligned to defined priorities, and meets quality standards.
This role works closely with leadership, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support implementation efforts. The Team Lead contributes to planning, facilitates execution, and helps remove blockers.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Execution Leadership
  • Guide day-to-day implementation activities, ensuring tasks progress according to defined plans
  • Support the team in executing configuration, validation, testing, and deployment activities
  • Ensure work is completed with consistency, accuracy, and quality
  • Provide direction on implementation approach and best practices

Planning & Sprint/Work Coordination
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to support planning and execution activities
  • Contribute to effort estimation, task breakdown, and scheduling
  • Help translate defined scope into actionable tasks and workflows
  • Maintain visibility into progress, blockers, and workload

Blocker & Risk Management
  • Identify, communicate, and help resolve implementation blockers, risks, and dependencies
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Escalate risks or delays that may impact progress

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Support, Field Services, and Engineering teams
  • Ensure alignment across dependencies and workstreams
  • Participate in project meetings, coordination sessions, and status updates

Client Interaction Support
  • Participate in client-facing implementation activities
  • Provide updates and technical guidance during implementation
  • Support issue resolution and escalation discussions

Quality Assurance & Standards
  • Validate implementation work to ensure it meets defined standards and requirements
  • Ensure adherence to implementation processes, workflows, and best practices
  • Review outputs to maintain quality and consistency

Metrics, Reporting & Visibility
  • Maintain accurate project tracking (Jira, documentation, status updates)
  • Provide visibility into progress, risks, and blockers
  • Support reporting needs for implementation activities

Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation workflows and efficiency
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standard processes

Experience & Skills
  • Strong experience in implementation, delivery coordination, or technical project execution
  • Proven ability to coordinate teams and drive execution without direct authority
  • Experience with planning, estimation, and execution tracking
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
