About Us The Grounds Guys of Ogden is a locally owned landscaping and lawn care franchise known for delivering exceptional service with professionalism and pride. We’re growing and we’re looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to manage daily operations and eventually take the reins. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role with a clear path to business ownership.

Job Summary As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee field operations, manage crews, streamline scheduling, and drive profitability. You’ll work closely with the franchise owner to learn the business inside and out, with the goal of transitioning into ownership within XX months.

Responsibilities

· Lead and manage daily landscaping and lawn care operations

· Schedule crews, optimize routes, and ensure service quality

· Hire, train, and retain high-performing team members

· Monitor job costs, inventory, and equipment maintenance

· Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning

· Attend client meetings, prepare estimates, and negotiate contracts

· Track KPIs and implement operational improvements

· Participate in structured mentorship and ownership planning

Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience in landscaping, lawn care, or service-based operations

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
