Operations Manager - Shop & Field Repair Division
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the shop and field repair division. This role is responsible for managing proposals, scheduling, real-time operations, and overall division performance to maximize resource utilization, ensure customer satisfaction, and achieve profitability goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all shop and field repair operations

  • Lead hiring, training, performance management, and development of department personnel

  • Manage daily scheduling and resource allocation for labor and equipment

  • Prepare estimates and proposals for shop and field repair projects

  • Maintain full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the division

  • Develop and manage annual and monthly budgets

  • Plan and execute repairs on steam turbine generators and other heavy rotating equipment

  • Establish production goals and monitor operational performance

  • Implement quality processes, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Coordinate with internal teams to optimize scheduling and staffing

  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 15+ years of related experience

  • 10+ years of operations management experience

  • Strong background in forecasting, scheduling, and real-time operations management

  • Extensive knowledge of steam turbine repairs, machining, welding, and blading

  • Experience with quality management systems and process development

  • Knowledge of power generation industry procedures and standards

  • Valid driver's license and passport
