Position Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring tools that keep Complete Farmerโ€™s technology platforms secure, scalable, and reliable. You will work closely with our engineering teams to automate workflows, optimize performance, and ensure high availability for our web, mobile, and data services.

What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS/Azure/GCP) to support production, staging, and development environments
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications, ensuring rapid and reliable deployment of code
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Monitor system health, application performance, and security compliance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, or Datadog
  • Implement and manage containerization strategies using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS
  • Collaborate with software engineers to optimize build processes and improve system reliability and release speed
  • Set up logging, alerting, and on-call rotation to guarantee uptime and quick incident response
  • Ensure robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures
  • Enforce best practices for cloud security, access control, and network configurations
  • Conduct regular cost optimization reviews to ensure efficient cloud resource usage
  • Support audits and maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and policies
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to developers on DevOps best practices and tooling
What Youโ€™ll Bring:
  • 4+ years of handsโ€‘on DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience in highโ€‘availability production environments
  • Proven expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
  • Strong skills in CI/CD technologies (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
  • Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or similar)
  • Experience with Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
  • Solid understanding of security best practices, including secrets management and identity/access control
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex system issues
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossโ€‘functional teams
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will be considered
