Job description

Your Role:
The Manager, Business Operations will work with a variety of leaders across VS&Co to develop and execute large-scale, cross-functional and cross-channel initiatives that support growth and process improvement, especially in 3rd party and collaboration expansion. This individual takes initiatives from feasibility and concept development through testing, execution, and closure, following a formalized initiative management approach. Project management considerations include, but are not limited to: scope, objectives, approach, timeline, deliverables, risk, quality, success measures, resource planning, and change management. This position requires a deep understanding of supply chain and enterprise technology, the ability to embed best practices into daily operations and the ability to drive for results.
Your Impact:
  • Fully project manages 3rd party and collaboration vendor onboardings including:
    • Partnering with business leaders and legal partners to execute contracts
    • Gather extensive documentation based on corporate requirements
    • Defining Incoterms and enabling various transportation methods
    • Understanding and managing cross-functional onboarding requirements including product packaging and DC inbound requirements, and VS&CO regulatory, customs, and production requirements
    • Communicating with VS&CO and 3P brand leaders
    • Meeting deadlines for product launch
  • Troubleshoots various 3rd party vendor challenges in supply chain, product data, purchase orders, shipment profiles and product packaging, digital site-readiness, and customs, regulatory, production, and legal requirements
  • Enables initiatives and special projects in digital and retail spaces, mergers and acquisitions, and international markets via flexibility, creativity, and connecting the dots and systems knowledge (Ariba, SAP, Apex, PLM systems)
  • Troubleshooting master data issues for Amazon and 3rd party teams in various enterprise systems including SAP, Salesforce PIM, Rithum, Logicbroker, Adobe Experience Manager (DAM)
  • Full project management responsibilities including analysis, design and implementation of initiatives
  • Develops and manages all initiative activities include initiative timeline definition, risk analysis, and resource management
  • Provides detailed initiative planning including, status tracking and reporting, issue resolution, schedule development, and budget development
  • Provides ability to identify initiative costs, quantify benefits and develop compelling business cases
  • Executes the daily tasks associated with assigned initiatives, conducts follow-up, facilitates meetings, coordinates communication, and maintains documentation
  • Leads presentation development to gain required approval from senior management throughout a given initiative
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization and external constituencies, such as suppliers and 3rd party vendors
  • Influences decision making to gain cross-functional alignment to achieve on-time execution of initiatives
  • Provides strategic thought partnership to functional leaders
  • Manage a team of analysts that support various 3rd party initiatives including vendor onboarding and Amazon and additional marketplace growth

Supply Chain Management Expertise
  • Provides process expertise related to the movement of products, information and funds across the VS&Co supply chain
  • Provides partners with an end-to-end view of current capabilities and opportunities to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve capacity
  • Brings cross-functional knowledge to business initiatives requiring process and/or technology solution

Technology Expertise
  • Provides working knowledge of enterprise and supply chain systems such as order management, product development, system integration, master data management, reporting platforms, digital asset management, omni-channel supply chains, EDI, RFID, POS and stores systems, warehouse management, and transportation management
  • Facilitates the completion of functional specifications, design, and development of systems that support supply chain and third-party product processes
  • Provides an interface between business units and the information technology organization in support of supply chain system and third-party brand implementation

Your Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or equivalent; MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years experience executing large-scale, cross-functional and cross-channel initiatives
  • Consulting experience a plus; SAP ERP, JDA, product development systems (Flex PLM / SAP PLM), Manhattan (WMS / TMS) or data visulalization / infograph experience a plus
  • Strong financial acumen; including comprehensive knowledge of financial terms and measures (e.g. retail math)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to think strategically while focusing on tactical details
  • Ability to leverage diagnostic and problem-solving skills to creatively develop solutions to business problems
  • Effective communication skills across a broad range of organizational levels and functions including the executive level
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Mature and open working style that stimulates a sense of cooperation and ownership and produces results
  • Ability to apply creativity in solution development
  • Ability to effectively frame concepts and develop strawman operational models

  • Some travel between Columbus and NYC home offices
