Job description

Deploying autonomous robots into hospitals is operationally complex every site is different, every stakeholder has different needs, and uptime is non-negotiable. As our operations lead, you'll be the person who makes the fleet run. You'll lead a small field team, own the end-to-end deployment and uptime of STAT, TOTE, LIFT, and LIFT+ across our hospital sites, and build the operational infrastructure that lets us scale from a handful of deployments to many. This is a foundational role the processes you build will define how we operate for years.

What you'll do
  • Lead and develop a small field operations team setting priorities, running the cadence, and growing people
  • Manage field deployments end-to-end site readiness, installation, commissioning, and handoff at each new hospital
  • Own fleet uptime across all live sites monitor performance, triage issues, and drive fast resolution
  • Build the ops playbook from scratch deployment runbooks, escalation paths, maintenance schedules, and training materials
  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for hospital stakeholders facilities, nursing, logistics, and IT teams
  • Feed field learnings back to engineering and product
What we're looking for
  • 35 years in field operations, deployment, or technical operations ideally involving physical hardware or equipment
  • Proven experience leading a small team you know how to set direction, hold people accountable, and help them grow
  • A builder mindset you've created processes and documentation where none existed before
  • Strong stakeholder management comfortable navigating complex institutional environments
  • Comfortable with ambiguity able to make good decisions quickly when the playbook doesn't exist yet
  • Willingness to travel to hospital sites for deployments and ongoing support
Nice to have
  • Experience working in or alongside hospital operations
  • Familiarity with medical device or regulated equipment deployment
  • Technical background comfortable with hardware troubleshooting
  • Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or fleet management
  • Background in logistics, facilities, or supply chain operations
