Founding Account Executive

Hyperscale Systems, Inc

San Francisco, CA • On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 19 days ago

Key responsibilities

  • Run discovery calls and early product demos with operations executives and leaders at trucking carriers

  • Source and generate pipeline through cold calls, email, and social outreach, and qualify opportunities

  • Partner with founders to take deals across the line and help build sales materials and positioning

Job description

Founding Account Executive (SF In-Person Preferred)
About Hyperscale
Hyperscale is building AGI for physical operations. We're a team of ex-Samsara engineers and operators deploying frontier agentic systems in the real world.
The result is a superagent that autonomously handles the highest-volume, most complex back-office workflows physical operations depend on: load coordination, scheduling, support, finance and billing, and more. We're live with some of the largest fleets in the US, running millions of autonomous tasks each week, with strong customer satisfaction. We're backed by top investors and moving fast.
The Role
We're hiring a Founding Account Executive to build pipeline and run early-stage deals alongside the founders. You'll own the top and middle of the funnel - sourcing your own deals, prospecting, discovery, and demos - then partner with the founders to take deals across the line.
This is a great fit for an early-career rep who wants to sell on the cutting edge of real-world AI, learn enterprise motions directly from founders, and close the biggest deals of your career as we scale. You'll get real ownership of pipeline from day one and a front-row seat to how complex deals get done.
What You'll Do
  • Run discovery calls and early product demos with operations executives and leaders at trucking carriers
  • Source and generate your own pipeline through cold calls, email, and social outreach
  • Qualify opportunities and work later-stage meetings with the founders, staying involved through close
  • Keep a clean, healthy pipeline and consistently hit your activity and pipeline targets
  • Help build what you need to sell - iterate on decks, use cases, positioning - working directly with marketing, product, and engineering rather than waiting for a GTM machine to hand it to you
  • Feed what you learn from frontline conversations back into our pitch and product roadmap
  • Represent Hyperscale at industry events and conferences

Who You Are
  • 2-6 years of sales experience, including 1-2 years as an SDR/BDR and 1+ year as an AE
  • Strong, consistent quota attainment
  • Experience sourcing your own deals end to end
  • Time at an early-stage company (pre-seed or seed ideal) - you enjoy ownership, building, and creative solutioning
  • Real phone chops - our buyers run their business on the phone, so this is a calling motion in addition to emailing and social media
  • Resourceful builder - comfortable creating the deck, defining the use case, and unblocking yourself by working cross-functionally
  • Technically curious and able to explain a sophisticated product simply
  • Self-starter who's comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-moving startup

Nice to Have
  • Experience selling technical or B2B SaaS products
  • Exposure to AI/ML or other emerging technologies
  • Background or interest in logistics, trucking, fleet operations, or supply chain

Location
San Francisco preferred (in-person). We move quickly and value tight feedback loops across sales, product, engineering, and customers.
Why Hyperscale
  • Get in early on a category-defining product with an elite team
  • Real product in production with major US fleets
  • Clear ROI and strong metrics already working in the wild
  • Build the sales team and culture from day one, with a clear path to sales leadership as we scale
  • Direct access to founders, product, and customers with immediate impact
  • Backed by top VCs and growing quickly - doubling the team this year
