The Operations Coordinator will perform the day-to-day functions associated with and supporting Fiber Maintenance, Relocation and Overbuilds. Also supporting project implementation in both the pre-construction and post-construction environments.This roleis responsible formaintainingstatus reports documenting project schedules and project costs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for local contract administration and compliance with bonding, insurance, and generalized procedures.

  • Project coordination with all levels of management.

  • Track, report, and communicate on all Outside Plant (OSP) project progress.

  • Assistwith cost actuals versus budget. Build quality, reporting accuracy, and project tracker accuracy;

  • Assistand coordinate cablelocateservice contractors.

  • Maintain a tracking log for all capital, expense, and emergencyrestorationpurchase requisitions.

  • Manage incoming and outgoing materials inventory.

  • Assistin general contractor coordination.

  • Develop andmaintaincontact list for Zayo business contracts, includingpermitagencies and ILEC.

  • Coordinate all conduit leases and paperwork associated with existing and future leases.

  • Responsible for coordinating all permits associated with city, state, and county agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Telecom experiencepreferred.

  • Extreme attention to detail with a keen eye on accuracy.

  • Excellent communicator; willing to write to, speak to, and communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to take data and turn it into reports.

  • Previousexperience working with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability towritereports and correspondence.

Estimated base pay range for this role is $18 - $27.69 USD / hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.


Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
