POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations Coordinator will be in charge of the set-up and organization of the facility's sports and non-sports programs, including leagues, tournaments, events, and any other programs held. The coordinator will work closely with the individual leaders of each program as well as other internal departments (Operations, Business Development, etc.) in order to successfully accomplish these responsibilities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Coordination of requirements for functions, events, tournaments and programs within the facility
  • Coordinate with Operations Director the monthly schedules for all team members
  • Develop and monitor a risk management program and ensure all necessary steps are taken by staff
  • Conduct inspections of facility to ensure that it is clean and well maintained and to ensure that specifications and standards are being complied with by staff and contractors
  • Assists in the oversight, management, and training of the part-time operations staff, as well as the part-time events and guest services team members
  • Oversee all day-to-day general facility operations
  • Ensure that services within the facility are delivered in a safe, dependable, and effective manner
  • Resolve guest concerns and complaints, and act on feedback
  • Communicate with Operations Director and General Manager any staff or guest concerns
  • Participation in planning/strategic meetings
  • Serve as Manager-On-Duty ("MOD") during programming and events, ensuring their smooth operation and customer satisfaction
  • Various other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have verbal and written communications skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time in various conditions
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Facility has intermittent noise
