Job description

Operations Associate
Department: Retail
Employment Type: Seasonal - Part Time
Location: East Hampton
Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 / hour
Description
The seasonal part-time Operations Associate is responsible for supporting overall store performance through efficient back of house execution. The Associate should be able to demonstrate expertise in operational tasks including receiving, stock organization, replenishment to the floor, transfers, and maintaining an organized and clean stock room. When the store is busy, they will also help with standardization of store visual merchandising to ensure space is presentable at all times.
What You'll Do
  • Contribute to all aspect of store maintenance
  • Receive inventory and ensure accuracy by following proper procedures and best practices
  • Ensure inventory control and inspect the quality and condition of new merchandise
  • Organize back stock
  • Steam all client try-ons and returns
  • Prep store to store transfers
  • Prep FedEx labels for shipments and follow up to ensure packages were received
  • Prep gift boxes
  • Assist with cleaning of store

What You'll Need
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Ability to lift baskets / boxes up to 30 pounds
  • Team player
  • Flexible schedule - ability to work weekends, holidays, and be on call for when needed
  • Ability to maintain courteous, professional communication with all customers and co-workers at all times
  • Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and the ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, carry up to 30 lbs, move freely on a ladder, and have the ability to bend and reach as necessary
