Position Description
Double E Group is an international market leader in the engineering and manufacturing of web handling, material handling, and converting solutions. Our broad portfolio of products is marketed to the paper, tissue, film and foil converting industries.
The General Operations support person assists the operations team in performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to, receiving parcels and large crates, shipping and crating of parcels and large crates, as well as offering assistance in inventory management. Some fabrication (including grinding, cutting of material, assembling, patching, glueing and processing materials, parts, and assemblies.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the Operations Department with inventory management
• Use of the saw to cut wood, raw materials, and other packaging materials, as needed
• Receiving inventory physically and electronically
• Shipping inventory physically and electronically
• Use of nail guns, drills and saws to construct crates for our finished products
• Grinding
• Patching & gluing
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Requirements
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Good communication skills and ability to be self-directed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be detail oriented.
• Team player, energetic and willingness to help where needed.
• Ability to use basic programs (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to use hand and power tools
Education and Experience
• Previous construction experience, a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
