Your future role at a glance

Location: Anderson, IN

Facility: Ascension Medical Group Clinic

Department: Float Pool Staffing Northeast Region

Schedule: PRN | Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:30pm | varied based on the office covered that day | 2 shifts a month if not more depending on the coverage needs

Bonus: Float Pool Incentive

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • This is a float position around the Northeast region for AMG. You will travel as far Winchester, Union City, Marion, Fishers, Anderson, Pendleton, and Yorktown. (Mileage is reimbursed)
  • Create a seamless patient arrival experience by managing the check-in and out process with a focus on hospitality and clinical readiness.
  • Lead the accuracy of patient care records by verifying demographic and insurance data to ensure every patient's journey is documented correctly from the start.
  • Support the financial health of the clinic by securing necessary insurance authorizations and managing daily co-payments and deposits with expert precision.
  • Orchestrate the clinic's daily flow by scheduling appointments and managing medical record requests to keep the healthcare team and the patients perfectly in sync.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum Qualification: Six months of experience working in an administrative support role in a medical office setting.
