General position summary:
The Domestic Operations Assistant II for the documents team will support and participate in the development and management of the Government Services documents team for all domestic shipments. Monitor and update information on shipments to management and in the Defense Personal Property System (DPS) when required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and processes improvement in the daily document team task and workflow
  • Assist in the training of team members to ensure timeliness and accuracy
  • Accurately research letters of warnings due to delayed system updates and provide detailed information to management when required
  • Assist team in daily activities
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with all service providers to meet requirements from the base
  • Monitor and communicate back information to management regarding service providers timelines on all requirements
  • Provide accurate updates and documentation for our internal systems (Movers Suite and Transflo)
  • Over time required when necessary due to shipment volume
