Job Overview

We're looking for a high-potential, early-career individual to join us as a part-time Business Operations Assistant at our Santa Clara location.

This is not a traditional receptionist or administrative role. While you'll help create a welcoming and professional office environment, you'll also work closely with our Executive Business Partner and leadership team to support day-to-day business operations.

This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is curious about how a startup operates behind the scenes and wants hands-on exposure to business, finance, and operations in a fast-paced deep tech company.

Key Responsibilities
Office & Front-of-House Support
  • Greet and host visitors, candidates, and partners

  • Help maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment

  • Coordinate deliveries, mail, and office logistics

Business & Operational Support
  • Support the Executive Business Partner and/or VP, Business & Legal with day-to-day tasks

  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and light project support

  • Help organize internal documents, trackers, and workflows

Finance & Administrative Exposure
  • Assist with Quote to Delivery process and vendor coordination

  • Support data entry and inventory tracking 

  • Help maintain basic operational records

Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program or directly relevant work experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn

  • Comfortable interacting with a wide range of people (from candidates to executives)

  • Ability to lift and transport 25lbs unassisted
  • Interest in business operations, finance, or startups

  • Basic proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
