Brady West SoCal is seeking an organized, dependable, and motivated Operations Assistant to support our office and field operations teams.
The ideal candidate is a bilingual self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills who can manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform general office duties, including answering phone calls, filing, typing, preparing correspondence, and maintaining office records.
  • Assist with the employment application process for field employees.
  • Assist with absentee, vacation, and school reporting through SharePoint.
  • Maintain daily no-call/no-show attendance logs and cross-reference information with payroll records.
  • Maintain and update manpower reports and records.
  • Maintain multiple spreadsheets related to time and material work, acceleration, mobile technology, safety, and other operational needs.
  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Manager and Safety Director.
  • Collect, sort, copy, and distribute incoming correspondence and documentation.
  • Ensure paperwork is transferred promptly between jobsite offices and the main office.
  • Track Quality Assurance inspections completed at jobsites.
  • Assist with coordinating Safety Stand-Ups, including scheduling, ordering food and shirts, and obtaining raffle items.
  • Assist with coordinating Safety Partner meetings, including preparing agendas with input from Senior Operations, the Unit President, and the Safety Director.
  • Research and secure appropriate venues for meetings and events.
  • Assist with planning and organizing field training programs and field team-building events.
  • Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • One to two years of office or administrative experience.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and other business operating software.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in both English and Spanish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain accurate spreadsheets, logs, and reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee and company information appropriately.
  • Motivated self-starter who takes initiative and follows through on responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction or field operations environment.
  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000 per year based on experience.
