JOB SUMMARY
The Operational Excellence Leader is responsible for driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency across the organization. This role leads strategic initiatives using Lean methodologies to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and foster a culture of excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with leadership capabilities to influence change and deliver measurable business results.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions(Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement operational excellence strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies
• Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build operational excellence capabilities across teams.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to prioritize improvement initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational performance.
• Drive change management efforts to ensure sustainable adoption of new processes and practices.
• Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in operational processes.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in operational excellence, process improvement, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies; certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and process mapping software.
