Location: Tyler, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (4 on / 2 off rotation)

Prestige Estates has been a leader in senior care since 2007. As the only privately owned and operated Assisted Living and Memory Care community in East Texas, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, home-like environment for both our residents and our team members.
What You'll Do
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing compassionate care, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide high-quality personal care in a manner that supports resident safety, dignity, and comfort
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and restroom assistance
  • Support mobility needs, including safe transfers (bed to wheelchair, etc.)
  • Promote and encourage the highest level of independence possible for each resident
  • Provide companionship and meaningful engagement to enhance quality of life
  • Observe, report, and document changes in residents' conditions and needs
  • Communicate effectively with team members, families, and supervising nurse
  • Contribute to and support the implementation of individualized care plans
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents

Qualifications:
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with Alzheimer's and dementia care preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
