Nurse Supervisor

Behavioral Health - Night

Pay: 48hr - 53hr
Location: Johnstown, CO

Schedule: Night Shift | 4pm - Midnight OR Midnight - 8am

Be the steady hand on the unit. As a Nurse Supervisor, you coordinate care, mentor the team, and keep the milieu calm, safe, and moving forward-no matter what the shift brings -providing a calm, vigilant presence while others rest.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Serve as onshift clinical leader: assign staff, prioritize admissions/discharges, and coordinate with intake and ED transfers.
  • Support RNs/LPNs with assessments, med administration, restraint/seclusion per policy, and timely documentation.
  • Lead realtime deescalation and code responses; ensure postevent debriefs and learning.
  • Validate rounds, safety checks, and environmentofcare standards; escalate facilities/security needs.
  • Precept new hires and students; champion competencies and policy adherence.
  • Ensure continuity of care overnight with vigilant observation and timely documentation.
  • Manage afterhours admissions and urgent needs; prepare a thorough handoff to the day team.

What We're Looking For

  • Active RN license; BSN preferred.
  • 2+ years inpatient psych or emergency psych experience; prior charge experience a plus.
  • Calm communicator with strong criticalthinking skills.
  • Must be 21 or older
