Job Duties:

As a Medication Aide/Tech at The Springs of Red Oak, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Administering or assisting with the self-administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, in compliance with state regulations and upon completion of required training/certification.
  • Monitoring and reporting residents’ responses to medication to your supervisor.
  • Keeping the medication supply room organized, clean, and well-stocked.
  • Conducting medication cart audits and maintaining accurate medication counts.
  • Communicating with pharmacies to ensure timely delivery of medications.
