Medication Aide And/Or Med Tech

Waters Edge Lodge is currently seeking a Medication Aide and/or Med Tech for the PM (2:30pm-11:00pm) shift. Pay rate- $24.00 per hour. The primary functions of a Med Aide/Med Tech are to:

  • Administer medications
  • Respond to residents' needs promptly
  • React timely to resident pull cords/alerts

We are looking for part time employees. Regular part-time schedule is 2-on, 4-off. On-call/PRN also available.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment
  • Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
  • Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals

Employment requirements include:

  • current COVID19 vaccination
  • Routine COVID tests
  • Physical
  • TB test
  • Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & Dept. of Justice

Waters Edge Lodge is nestled in a unique and peaceful setting on the lagoon of Harbor Bay. Our 100 apartments provide a warm and familiar atmosphere where residents can maintain an independent and active lifestyle. We offer an extensive list of programs and activities, creating a stimulating social atmosphere where friendships develop and thrive. Residents may also enjoy the many walking trails in the community or visit one of the many professional services, cafes, shops and major stores at Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center located next door.

We are a pet friendly community, residents may have animals in their private apartments and the Med Aide/Tech position will have to enter and perform work in that space.
