Shifts: In general, we offer 8-, and 12-hour shifts for our nursing positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.

Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Life Services Coordinator - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified to join our Maggie's Place Memory Care team! The Life Services Coordinator is responsible for cultivating an environment that maximizes each resident’s independence.  The Life Services Coordinator is responsible for delivering assistance with personal care, medications, social and recreational activities, meals, and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of tenants. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified provides services to tenants as assigned and as indicated on Resident Service Plans which may include grooming and dressing guidance, assistance with bathing, and medication reminders/ assistance
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified reports any significant tenant changes to the nurse
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified monitors for changes in tenant needs, preferences, and/or health status, and reports/documents any changes according to established procedures
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified reviews the Staff 24-Hour Communication log and corresponding Tenant Service Notes on a daily basis for information about changes in tenant service needs and/or health conditions
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified prepare and serve meals/snacks, monitor food expiration dates and  maintain kitchen cleanliness.
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified complete various housekeeping duties including; dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and common spaces, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, make and change bed linens, laundry services. 
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified maintains activity calendar and engage tenants in activities such as spiritual, educational, games, music, and physical activities
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified provide companionship
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified works effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified follows safety policies in performing care, assuring resident safety
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified follows and upholds policies and procedures
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified follows infection control guidelines
  • Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 1-2 years’ previous experience working with individuals with dementia, preferably in a memory care setting.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Medication Manager OR Certified Medication Aide reccomended.
