CMT Services, Inc. is seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to support Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection events across multiple counties in Maryland. This position involves one-day assignments (day trips up to 75 miles) assisting with the safe collection, handling, and sorting of hazardous materials from the public.
This is a field-based, on-call role ideal for individuals who are dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the collection and sorting of household hazardous waste materials
  • Safely handle items such as paints, chemicals, batteries, and automotive fluids
  • Direct and assist residents during drop-off events
  • Follow proper labeling, segregation, and disposal procedures
  • Load, unload, and transport materials within the site
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work closely with team members to ensure efficient event operations
  • Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times

Work Schedule & Travel
