General Description: 

This position seeks to fulfill the needs of Prime’s driving associates through services provided in our Travel Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quote and book leisure packages that may include resorts, cruises, and land excursions
  • Book air travel, car, and hotel reservations for associates within Sabre and Concur
  • Provide face to face, email and phone assistance to our drivers and associates seeking to utilize discounted travel resources
  • Reconciling direct bill travel accounts
  • Process reservations, payroll adjustments and monthly reconciliation of Greyhound account
  • Coordinate room reservations with commonly owned hotels
  • Manage truck recoveries while corresponding with dispatchers
  • Provide cost analysis to management to aid in traveling planning

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Juggle many travel arrangements simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of airline policies, rental car and hotel policies and procedures
  • Must be capable of managing multiple tasks while prioritizing, ensuring accuracy, giving attention to detail, and meeting strict deadlines
  • Be highly productive in a self-directed work environment
  • Excellent customer service skills & phone etiquette
  • Strong written, listening, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Experience, Education, and Training

  • Travel industry experience required
  • GDS system experience is required, Sabre preferred
  • Degree from an accredited University in a business administration, hospitality, travel/tourism, or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of airline, rental car, and hotel policies
  • Leisure travel experience preferred
