About the job Junior Dentist (No experience or Entry-level)
Overview
We are seeking an Entry-Level Dentist with 0 to 2 years of experience to join our fully digital, AI-assisted practice. This role focuses on foundational dentistry with structured mentorship and training. You will work with experienced providers, a CBCT scanner, 3D scanners, CAD/CAM workflows, digital impressions, 3D printing, and AI tools provided by the practice.
This position includes bread-and-butter dentistry with opportunities to develop advanced skills such as implant placement, gingivectomy, and molar root canal therapy.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform bread-and-butter general dentistry, including:
    • Fillings
    • Crowns
    • Bridges
    • Implant crowns
    • Cleanings and deep cleanings
    • Scaling and root planing
    • Periodontal therapy including laser applications
  • Perform basic orthodontic support, including invisible aligner therapy under orthodontist guidance.
  • Complete simple extractions, non-molar root canals, and removable prosthodontics.
  • Use the following technologies as part of daily workflow:
    • AI tools provided by the practice
    • CBCT scanner
    • 3D scanner
    • Digital impressions
    • CAD/CAM systems
    • In-office 3D printing
  • Participate in structured mentorship covering:
    • Treatment planning
    • Diagnostic reasoning
    • Case sequencing
    • Restorative workflows
Training Opportunities
  • Implant placement
  • Gingivectomy and soft tissue procedures
  • Molar root canal therapy
  • Advanced aligner orthodontics
  • Additional surgical and restorative procedures as skills advance
Schedule
  • Minimum 2 days per week and up to 6 days per week.
  • Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • Full-time schedules range from 30 to 40 hours per week.
Compensation
  • Guaranteed minimum of 600 to 650 dollars per day or 32 percent of collections, whichever is higher.
  • No fees deducted except a 50/50 cost split on:
    • Dentures
    • Orthodontics
    • Implant treatments
  • Dental care provided.
  • Strong mentorship, patient flow, and training support.
  • Required Credentials
  • Active Virginia Dental License (DDS or DMD).
  • CPR or BLS certification.
  • DEA registration.
  • Compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC standards.
  • Up-to-date continuing education as required by the Virginia Board of Dentistry.
