Iron Oak Energy is looking for a dynamic Terminal Supervisor who will have a positive impact on the Terminal Operations team at its Eighty Four, Pennsylvania terminal location.
The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities:
  • Identify and report on inbound and outbound distribution terminals for all markets
  • Operational evaluation, improvement plans, plan execution, resource planning for current and future inbound and outbound distribution terminals
  • Contract management for all distribution related activities including but not limited to: terminal track leases, terminal operator contracts, 3rd party compliance to all regulatory issues within scope of service
  • Collaborate closely with Director Terminal Management, sales management, operational and engineering, and transportation groups to develop and support comprehensive long-term distribution strategy
  • Work closely with communities and local regulatory agencies for existing and future terminal operations
  • Plan and manage projects and processes, as well as allocate resources, monitor progress and establish budget to support ongoing terminal operations and future capital expansion
  • Translate corporate objectives into realistic and achievable distribution objectives and goals
  • Analyze data and draw insights from detailed market level analysis
  • Support companies' commitment to the principles of sustainable development
  • Interact with quality group on OOS Products/Non-Conformance
  • Interact with Accounting, Terminal Admin, and terminals
  • Understands the cost structure to support input into annual budget for these facilities.
  • Handles terminal audits on Safety, Quality, House Keeping and SOP's
  • Develop/manage both hourly and salaried employees to develop talent within the terminal group.
  • Interact with Iron Oak Safety group to implement safety guidelines and achieve goals.

The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, transportation, product flow analysis, and/or network analysis required
  • Strong background and relationship with Class 1 Railroads highly desired
  • Strong background in distribution planning/design, transloading/material handling/warehousing
  • Ability to work with and maintain industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge and demonstration of solid understanding of Supply Chain
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge in Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel significantly to support the terminal and business needs
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and other required personal protective equipment.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
