Would you like to contribute to the terminal maintenance and operation to facilitate oil movement, measurement, and compliance with regulation and Company policy for our 24-hour facility? Are you looking for a lucrative career with multiple opportunities for advancement in the energy industry? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you!

Here's what you will do:

  • Provide relief for Terminal Gauger.

  • Maintain terminal buildings and grounds within the facility.

  • Maintain tanks and tank pads along with the cleaning and winterizing of roof drains and the drainage of the tank lots.

  • Maintain all terminal vehicles, and motorized equipment.

  • Acts as company representative and witnesses metering proving and measurement checks on connecting carrier facilities along with Enbridge owned metering facilities.

  • Gauge storage tanks as required.

  • Assist project teams with capital upgrades and maintenance.

  • Assists operations staff in performing DOT required monthly tank inspections.

  • Obtain crude oil samples and report lab analysis for deliveries to connecting carrier as required.

  • Performs measurement and quality checks as required in Book 5 Petroleum Quality and Measurement Manual.

  • Issues Work Authorizations and Safe work permits and oversees contractor work at company facilities as needed.

  • Maintains terminal grounds: mow grass, clear snow, grade roads, clear ditches culverts and flumes, drains water.

  • Checks and maintains fire and safety equipment including but not limited to foam trailer, fire equipment, fire pumps and hydrants, fire extinguishers. Respiratory protection equipment and gas detectors. Confined space rescue equipment.

  • Maintain Operator Qualification requirements.

  • Available to provide on call relief.

  • Provide emergency response for Terminal (oil spill and fire response).

Who you are:

You have the following education and experience:

  • Must be able to physically perform heavy manual work, including climbing storage tanks and lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.

  • Ability to acquire a CDL Class B Driver's License with air brakes, hazardous materials, and tank vehicle endorsements.

  • Basic understanding and use of computers

Preferred:

  • Two years of experience in operations or maintenance for a crude oil pipeline, tank farm, or delivery facility.

  • General knowledge of hydraulics with a construction or technical background

  • Construction or technical background

  • Positive attitude and strong math aptitude.

Working Conditions:

  • Specific field/office duties for training, meetings, documentation of required tasks as required by the US Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Enbridge must comply

  • Work outside in all types of weather

  • Working at heights

  • Perform work with respiratory protection (SCBA)

  • Shift work required

  • Some travel may be required

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 53 of pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects 72 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary:

  • Salary is $38.16/hourlyUSD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
