Job description

Position Summary:
The Loan Portfolio Officer/Manager is responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring, and managing the Bank's various loan portfolios to achieve efficiency and quality of the process and related lending products and services. This position will be responsible for working with Credit Administration and the SVP/Loan Officer IV on loan analysis, loan structure and terms, collateral management, credit administration, title work, leading loan requests through the credit approval process, and assisting with the overall portfolio management.
The Loan Portfolio Officer/Manager will be responsible for on-going portfolio maintenance activities, manage a portfolio of complex credits and will perform the functions of the position with oversight from the SVP/Loan Officer IV.
The level of this position is based on years of service, education and/or equivalent experience, knowledge level and skill set.
Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Essential Function and Skill satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. Act as the technical expert on the Bank's loan portfolios.
2. Underwrite and compile credit memos.
3. Be responsible for collateral management.
4. Order title work and appraisal requests and reviews.
5. Work with Loan Officers to assist with client relationships.
6. Effectively communicate with Loan Officers and customers.
7. Conduct all aspects involved with managing portfolios, including digital engagement, maintaining the portfolio's, document review and account activities.
8. Support revenue growth by assisting with management plans, credit, and deposit goals.
9. Possess knowledge of fiduciary and financial products and services.
10. Provide financial analysis to maximize profitability.
11. Possess a thorough understanding of the terms and conditions under which the loans should be presented and closed.
12. Provide loan structure guidance and apply analysis assistance to mitigate risks in relationships consistent with loan policies.
13. This position requires a valid Driver's License.

15. Regular attendance and punctuality when reporting to work.
16. Travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed.
17. This position may require installation of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app on an employee's personal mobile device. THE MFA apps are used to authenticate a user's identity to the system for security purposes.
18. Adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to BSA/AML, as well as adhere to the Bank's policies and procedures.
19. Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

Education and Experience:
Required - High School diploma or GED. Etc.
Required - Four-year bachelor's degree in related field.
Required - 0 to 5 years of progressive commercial and agricultural lending experience.
Required - Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge and proficiency.
Preferred - 0 to 5 years of customer service experience.
Preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, familiarity with loan documentation and boarding software.
