Dental Office Manager
Location: Bloomington, IL 61704
Signature Dental Experience is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Dental Office Manager for our practice in Bloomington, IL. Candidates should be self-starters, good communicators, and have the ability to empower teams as leaders. The Dental Office Manager will plan, coordinate, and oversee the dental practice to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Dental Office Manager will enthusiastically lead and manage the overall operations of the dental office.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the scheduling and overall production of the practice. Works closely with dentists, operations team, and staff to ensure schedules are busy, and the practice continues to grow.
  • Ensures patients experience a high level of customer service and satisfaction in their experience with our practice
  • Handle accounts payable and invoices and send it to the corporate office for payment
  • Supervise staff, provide direction and performance input, and help onboard new hires to the practice.
  • Foster practice team and professional relationships of the practice
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly and year-end reports
  • Responsive to clinical and operational concerns in a timely and effective manner and be accessible when needed
  • Monitor the practice budget throughout the year and communicate often regarding it to the dentists and operations staff members
  • Support the achievement of performance targets and budgeted goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in an appropriate field of study. A high school diploma plus 5+ years of applicable dental experience may be considered.
  • 3-5 years' dental practice experience showing career progression
  • Experience working in practice management software
  • Demonstrates a high degree of customer service
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and a demonstrated change agent
