Job description

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a full-time Office Coordinator to support the busy operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative support tasks and will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This person must be well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a growing office of diverse people and projects. 

This is a full-time, in-office position in our Raleigh, NC, area office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm ET. #LI-ONSITE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Be the face of IXL: Greet guests, sign and deliver packages, send company-wide announcements as requested
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail/packages
  • Assist with inventorying and ordering office supplies including kitchen, general office, and shipping; manage and track all orders; keep supplies stocked and organized; and maintain office equipment
  • Assist with corporate-wide initiatives
  • Assist recruiting with on-site interviews (greet candidate, notify recruiting of candidate's arrival, etc.)
  • Assist with coordinating office socials and events
  • Other support tasks as needed/assigned
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2+ years of experience in an office environment or equivalent 
  • Ability to assess a situation and problem-solve to a positive outcome
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
  • Energetic, mature, positive person with a keen ability to anticipate needs and work independently
  • Ability to work with high confidentiality
  • Experience with Google Suite, including Gmail, Cal and Docs
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
