Now hiring! Customer-Site Service Representative I

On-site, Monday-Friday 6am-3pm (occasional weekends as needed)

We are seeking a Customer Site Service Representative I to join our Coatings team at a customer's plant in Princeton, IN

We are seeking a professional like yourself to join our team as a Customer-Site Service Representative (CSSR) for the Automotive Coatings Group.  In this role, your primary function will be to provide in-depth support to an important OEM customer, working onsite at the customer account during day / 1st shift operations 5 – 6 days per week, with the ability to be on-call during off hours and weekends, as the situation demands.  The position location will be Princeton, Indiana.

In this role, you will support the efforts of the Company to assure value to the customer for product technical support, problem investigation, analysis, and resolution. You will also assure that coatings material performance meets or exceeds customer expectations and supports business objectives to remain our customer’s supplier of choice. Collect, report, and maintain daily and weekly measurements, to ensure all material is within specification and drive customer expected performance.

You will demonstrate the technical and professional expertise needed to enhance Company’s reputation with the customer. This role controls key performance indicators within product service environments to drive problem resolution and product improvement initiatives critical to customer performance expectations.

You create chemistry by:

  • Providing on-site expertise of products, their application and performance.
  • Inspecting and evaluating painted units for defects (e.g., sags, thin paint, drips, craters, orange peel, etc.) providing process recommendations for control and correction.
  • Interacting with production team members, maintenance personnel, and management at this customer manufacturing facility.
  • Managing technical support activities on your own with minimal supervision.
  • Creating written reports, analyzing product and process data, and supporting inventory management and supply as required by the Company service leader for that location.
