  • Holds current Maine Department of Education State Criminal History Records Check
  • ServSafe certification required

Description:
  • To oversee kitchen personnel and participate in all kitchen activities including the purchasing of food and equipment as directed by the Nutrition Director, supervision of food production and meal service, and to supervise adherence to state and federal safety practices.
  • Supervises and assists in the preparation and service of food in portions that meet current federal guidelines as directed by the Nutrition Director.
  • Supervises food service sanitation procedures and equipment maintenance.
  • Conducts kitchen inventory and State of Maine end of month reporting as directed by the Nutrition Director.
  • Purchases food from RSU 18 vendors to meet projected inventory needs.
  • Performs additional duties and reporting as required as directed by the Nutrition Director.
