Local Team Collaboration:
  • Join our close-knit team of 13 physicians and 6 APPs at Wyoming Medical Center.
  • We work with the support of a clinical performance nurse and a hospitalist program manager.
  • Our hospital is a place of collaboration within numerous departments. We value a seamless transition of care for our patients, and communication within the community is second to none.
  • We use Cerner as our EMR and have our integrated informatics platform for seamless record-keeping.

Qualifications:
  • Board-certified/eligible nurse practitioners - Acute Care Trained NP preferred.
  • Experience as a hospitalist NP is strongly desired.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:
  • We are looking for a nurse practitioner interested in a night role.
  • Focus on cross coverage for patients within our East Campus during the week, and Main Campus on weekends. This role offers a great deal of autonomy.
  • Our team works a block schedule; 7 on 7 off.
  • Shifts are 12 hours in length; 7 pm - 7 am.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are a medium-sized 249-bed level one trauma and referral hospital with robust subspecialty support.
  • Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who relishes the challenge of addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.

Living and Working in Lake Saint Louis:
  • Banner Wyoming Medical Center is the largest hospital in Wyoming. Casper's only nonprofit, full-service acute care hospital, located both in the heart of the city and the heart of Wyoming. As a regional trauma and referral center, Banner Wyoming Medical Center serves 11 Wyoming counties, providing comprehensive heart, stroke, and trauma care.

Rewards and Compensation:
  • $170,000 annual base compensation plus incentives.
  • Relocation allowance provided.
  • Full benefits effective on day one of employment.
