Job Description:
Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an Associate Activation Specialist to temporarily support the Paid Media team in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Activation, and provide planning and executional support during an upcoming period of increased campaign activity.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a team player, and eager to grow their skills in paid advertising. If you have a passion for gaming and enjoy a high-growth, collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply!
NOTE: This is an anticipated 6-month assignment. The candidate will ideally be based in Irvine.
This is a contingent worker position and will be staffed through Volt, a staffing and workforce management company.
Responsibilities
  • Support the successful planning, build, and launch of upcoming paid media campaigns across programmatic and social platforms such as Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Meta, Reddit, TikTok, and Snap
  • Execute campaign trafficking, QA, and ad operations workflows with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness, including launching new assets and copy, generating screenshots and QA'ing live links for adherence to safe zones
  • Leverage dashboards and other available reporting tools to monitor daily pacing and evaluate the performance of active campaigns
  • Contribute to weekly performance reporting, making data-driven optimization recommendations to improve performance against KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CAC, efficient reach, views, and brand lift
  • Support vendor billing and financial tracking processes to ensure accurate campaign reconciliation
  • Participate in larger team projects on the future of media buying and activation

Minimum Requirements
  • 2+ years of recent hands-on experience activating Paid Social and/or Programmatic campaigns required
  • Ability to become productive quickly and contribute effectively in a contract-based role with defined project timelines and deliverables
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills; able to extract actionable insights from complex data sets
  • Strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Capable of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Comfortable managing large budgets/investment levels
  • Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend work during peak campaign periods

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $21.99 - $40.67 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
