We are the proud facilitators of Girl Scout camp at five Indiana locations, conveners of thousands of Girl Scout programs with nearly 600 community partners and serve thousands more community members each year at our STEM Center of Excellence and Founders Lodge Event and Conference Center. 


About the Role


The Kitchen staff is responsible for plan food service for the summer camp season.


How You Will Lead: 

  1. Cook meals for the summer camp season.
  2. Know safety procedures and general rules of kitchen/dining hall.
  3. These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned, and other duties may be assigned as required. 
  4. Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and amongst the membership.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in mass food cooking and serving.
  • Possess supervisory skills.
  • Ability to relate well and communicate with others.
  • Desire and ability to work in camp setting.
  • Background Check will be required.

Must hold membership in the Girl Scout organization and subscribe to the tenets of the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

  • Ability to stand on your feet for an extended period.
  • Ability to lift to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to seasonal weather conditions.
