City Wide Facility Solutions is excited to welcome a part-time Bilingual 2nd Shift Night Manager to our vibrant Nashville office! This position is a Friday, Saturday, Sunday role that works 5:30pm - 2:30am.

Objective

As a Night Manager who will be working you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our Independent Contractors (IC) deliver janitorial and other maintenance services that align with our high-quality standards and meet our clients' specific needs. Your responsibilities will involve visiting various client facilities in a designated area of Nashville, TN, including warehouses, distribution centers, auto dealerships, industrial plants, offices, and medical facilities. The Night Manager should be adept at exercising good judgment when it comes to addressing issues, providing proactive coaching to improve performance, and being ready to "roll up their sleeves" to tackle challenges as they arise.

Essential functions

  • Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) and In-House labor by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problems.
  • Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance.
  • Communicate with Facility Solutions Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including a nightly recap via email or phone message.
  • Make recommendations for work assignments and terminations when necessary.
  • Manage inspections, customer complaints, and customer requests following City Wide policies and procedures.
  • Oversee new account starts
  • Ensure compliance with client policies & procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use.
  • Other duties as necessary.

Requirements

Position Requirements

  • Typical working hours 5:30pm - 2:30am
  • High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry.
  • Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation as job requires traveling to client sites across the Nashville area.
  • Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
  • Bilingual Spanish is highly desired
  • Handyman, carpet cleaning, strip/wax, etc. or other relevant experience a plus.
